Now Through July 13 at Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts: Swan Lake

Swan Lake is one of the most famous ballets in the world, and you can see it on a majestic indoor-outdoor stage July 11-13 at Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts. The ballet tells a story of passion, transformation, death, and forgiveness, all set to Tchaikovsky’s classic music with modern choreography by Kevin McKenzie.

Tickets start at $25, and for every adult ticket you purchase, you can request one free ticket for a child 17 or under. Performances begin just before dusk, at 8:30 pm, and gates open 90 minutes earlier, at 7 pm. Regulars at Wolf Trap suggest it’s a good idea to arrive early, explore the venue, and get yourself settled before the show starts. You’ll find that most show-goers also have dinner at Wolf Trap, either by bringing their own picnics or purchasing food from one of the on-site food vendors.
