The best way to examine new bar and restaurant City Works in Tyson is by the numbers. More than 90 beers on draft. More than 40 items on the lunch and dinner menu. A 12,000-square-foot dining/bar area. 24 flat screen TVs. And the impressive counts just go on and on.
City Works has a little something for everyone, whether you just need a happy hour spot with plenty of beer options and fun snacks, or somewhere you can fit your whole family for a sit-down meal of entrees for the meat-eaters and vegetarians alike. City Works is also a new brunch destination for Bailey’s cream cheese stuffed French toast and their signature Churchill Bloody Mary topped with a savory skewer of shrimp, cheese, and, of all things, a Slim Jim. And you don’t want to wish away the warm summer weather too quickly, but come the fall, those dozens of TVs sure are going to come in handy to watch your fill of college football games.
Find City Works in the corner of the Capital One headquarters in McLean. They open daily at 11 a.m.
